Her work is displayed in the University of Limerick (Ireland) as well as being part of many private collections world-wide. She appeared on “Watercolour
Challenge”, a British T.V. programme, twice last year, painting scenes from Ireland. Her work incorporates all types of water-based media, pastels, and gold and silver ink. She is presently living in India. “Ireland has a name for being a watercolour country, and my previous work has reflected this in my misty, ethereal landscapes
and flower paintings. Coming to India has been a real challenge for me. However, I have always had a passion for painting sunflowers, and it is this fieriness that has how found expression in my work. Since coming to India, I feel I have the freedom to break the “old rules” of my previous watercolour training. My palette is now exploding with colour and texture and I have a more stylized approach to my subject”. |
